Who's ready to make an IMPACT!!

We have rebranded our Pride in the Park event to be bigger and better than ever! We listened to your feedback on previous events, took into account Wisconsin's unpredictable October weather patterns, and felt strongly that there was more we could do to make our fall event everything it could be. So this year we are excited to bring you our brand new IMPACT Pride Convention. This completely indoor event will hold the same spirit of our previous festivals but with more amenities, more accessibility, and more opportunities to support our LGBTQIA+ community.

This annual event showcases local queer owned and affiliated businesses, bands, entertainers, support services and fellow organizations dedicated to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community. In celebration of National Coming Out Day, we strive to bring awareness to the circumstances affecting our LGBTQIA+ community while celebrating how far we have come.
​
We are excited to support our long time partner Project 16:49 in this yearly event to bring awareness to the 1 in 4 youth that are rejected and become homeless after coming out to family members. (source) Project 16:49 is a local non-profit organization serving Rock County’s unaccompanied homeless teens.
Additionally we plan to raise funds in support of the Trevor project and their ongoing efforts to support our youth struggling with mental health. With the anti-trans legislation sweeping the nation this cause is crucial to support our struggling trans and queer youth.
We will also be supporting Stand in Pride, an organization dedicated to supporting our LGBTQIA+ community and making sure everyone knows that they are loved for who they are.
